Find Your CA Security Guard License

On the page below, enter your last name, first name and select your county, then click 'Find'. If your name shows up in the search results, click on it, and it will display your new security guard license information. This page can be printed and is recognized by the sate of CA as a temporary Guard Card. If the search results return 'No records returned', then your license is still being processed.

The standard time to clear on this page is 7-15 business days on average, after applying online. Actual processing time may be faster and in others can be longer, state processing time is very unpredictable.

Also Note that if there is anything at all on your criminal record outside of traffic violations, it can take 6-8 weeks or longer for state application processing.
